I am a postdoctoral researcher in Statistics, Probability and Stochastic Processes, currently affiliated with the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology in Japan. Before, I completed my PhD from the University of Warwick (UK) in 2024 and was a Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham (UK) 2024-2025.
I am interested in statistical modelling, inference and estimation, especially for dependent and discontinuous data. In particular, I am interested in questions relating to Markov chains, Markov processes and Stochastic Processes more widely.
I am currently working on error bounds and sample complexity for statistical estimation and mixing theory of classes of “structured” Markov chains.
